Litecoin Foundation announces partnership with American NFL team the Miami Dolphins.

The start of the 2019 NFL season will see Litecoin become the official Miami Dolphins cryptocurrency. The partnership between Litecoin Foundation, the Miami Dolphins and Aliant Payments, will begin on September 5, 2019

The crypto payments will be made possible by Aliant Payments.

Aliant Payments’ system will make the Miami Dolphins cryptocurrency payments possible. The partnership gives Litecoin the ability to reach one of the NFL’s largest fan bases via in-game branding and advertising opportunities at Hard Rock Stadium. It will also be included across the football team’s various online properties and digital content.

To start, the partnership will give fans the option of paying with Litecoin or Bitcoin when buying tickets for the Dolphin’s 50/50 raffle. Half of the proceeds of this raffle benefit the Miami Dolphins Foundation and its charitable causes.

The tickets for the 50/50 raffle can be purchased both online and at 14 kiosks and raffle seller locations throughout Hard Rock Stadium.
